Overview: We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our vibrant team. You’ll be tasked with constructing the client-side of our web applications, turning the needs of our company and customers into engaging, functional online experiences. This role is perfect for someone passionate about crafting user-friendly environments, eager to advance their coding skills, and interested in the intersection of usability and visual design.
Role Objectives: As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will lead and develop a team of technical talent by example and from experience. Testing and architecting will come naturally to you, as will ensuring the resiliency, security, performance efficiency, cost optimization, sustainability, and reliability of the Global AI Fund’s IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop back-end resources with Java
- Have experience of Infrastructure As Code / AWS CDK / Cloudformation
- Knowledge of AWS Amplify.
- Work collaboratively with Solutions Architect.
- Gather feedback to develop practical solutions.
- Draft functional requirement documents and create guides.
Basic Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in full-stack AWS development.
- Strong skills in Java, JavaScript, Python.
- Proficient with browser testing and debugging.
- A good grasp of API design and API performance considerations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- AWS Associate or Professional Certification
- AWS Specialty Certification, or the desire to achieve one within six months.
Skills:
- The ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills and the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Manage a team of junior developers.
- Knowledge of Amazon Bedrock
