Global Teck Worldwide Inc sources and distributes electronics and office supplies on its website and fulfilled by Amazon. The company tried aitium, an ISV solution, to forecast sales and optimize inventory, to reduce warehousing and working capital requirements. Storage costs due to lack of inventory optimization caused a temporary mis-allocation of company resources. In comparison with alternatives, aitium came in at ~15% of other comparable solutions. CEO Rolando Rosas found that forecasting should probably also include product level, or inventory, forecasting in addition to revenue. Aitium’s forecasting was able to predict working capital requirements with an AI agent, provide e-commerce analytics, and insight into global distribution.
Paper Plan LLC tried aitium® to forecast marketplace sales, to reduce warehousing / storage costs, and to estimate working capital requirements. In its use of business analytics applications, CEO Callum Mundine, said there are overlapping use cases of accounting software and reports from Amazon Seller Central, such as uploads of monthly keyword trends, that require manual interpretation and aitium®’s serverless user experience. With AWS Amplify deployments, harmonizing those use cases – particularly in the e-commerce industry – aitium® can provide B2B analytics, and be highly relevant to M&A advisory and global startups.
