Global Teck Worldwide Inc sources and distributes electronics and office supplies on its website and fulfilled by Amazon. The company tried aitium, an ISV solution, to forecast sales and optimize inventory, to reduce warehousing and working capital requirements. Storage costs due to lack of inventory optimization caused a temporary mis-allocation of company resources. In comparison with alternatives, aitium came in at ~15% of other comparable solutions. CEO Rolando Rosas found that forecasting should probably also include product level, or inventory, forecasting in addition to revenue. Aitium’s forecasting was able to predict working capital requirements with an AI agent, provide e-commerce analytics, and insight into global distribution.

The customer faced extreme seasonality, with 65% of revenue in Q4/Q1, causing 42% overstock, 23% stockouts, high FBA storage fees, and weak forecasting for new SKUs. Aitium deployed an AWS-native AI analytics solution using Amazon Forecast for seasonal demand forecasting and Amazon Bedrock Agents for natural-language business questions. Data is ingested from Amazon SP-API into S3, processed with Lambda and Step Functions, and tracked in DynamoDB. The solution has been live for 12 months, forecasting 380+ SKUs monthly. Results included reducing overstock to 16%, stockouts to 5.8%, achieving 18.7% WAPE forecast accuracy, reducing excess inventory by $390K, recovering an estimated $295K in revenue, and reaching ROI in 6 months.
