We’re looking for a skilled Data Specialist to harness emerging AI technologies and transform data into actionable insights.
Role Purpose: As a Data Specialist in Cloud Operations, you will tackle complex challenges through modeling, insights discovery, and opportunity identification using advanced BI, data mining, and visualization techniques. Your work will involve collaborating with various internal teams to enhance operational efficiency and impact the company’s bottom line significantly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Model complex business scenarios and extract meaningful insights from large data sets.
- Utilize business intelligence, data mining, and visualization tools to identify trends and opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to address business challenges.
- Communicate findings and influence decision-making through clear, concise presentations to non-technical stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in finance or a related analytical field.
- Proficient in data visualization tools and business or financial analysis.
- Skilled in defining requirements and using data and metrics to derive insights.
- Practical experience with Postman for API testing, and SQL or Python 3+ for data analysis.
- Holds or is willing to obtain AWS Associate or AWS Professional Certification.
- Demonstrated ability in making strategic business recommendations and influencing key stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in remote work.
- Java 11+
- Experience of data warehousing solutions, Amazon Redshift, Apache Spark.
- Familiarity with Node.js, AI modeling, APIs and machine learning.
- Proficient with AWS Cloud services and machine learning techniques, such as regression analysis.
- Strong communication skills, with a proven track record of influencing strategic decisions and gaining management support.
