Christopher Handy
Chris Handy is a seasoned Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with over 20 years of experience in private company and governmental auditing and a veteran of the US Army. His career includes significant leadership roles, such as serving as an Audit Branch Chief at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and as both Audit Director (Acting) and Deputy Audit Director at the U.S Department of Navy's Naval Audit Service. Chris is a member of the Washington Suburban Sanitation Commission’s Board of Director’s Audit Committee and Everglades University’s Program Advisory Committee. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Texas at San Antonio and an MBA from Frostburg State University.
Simon Gillett
Simon is an American-British entrepreneur with experience in financial markets (Standard Chartered Bank) and academia. Simon started to buy and build data businesses in 2014, building them sustainably in 8 countries, he now lives in Virginia, USA, with his wife and daughter. Simon is English, speaks 4 languages (6 on a good day!). He is an alumnus of University College London (BA (Hons), MA), the University of Edinburgh (PGDip by Research), the University of Exeter (M.Ed) and the University of Cambridge, and is recipient for a scholarship in Artificial Intelligence from the UK's EPSRC. He is a member of the Institute for Portfolio Alternatives, serving on the Technology, Innovation and Operations Committee. He enjoys scuba diving in his free time.
Dan Smytka
Dan is a board director, senior advisor, President & CEO, C-level executive with expertise for growing and leading businesses with General Electric, United Technologies, and Goodyear Tire & Rubber, and most recently, as President & CEO and Board Director for Zep Inc, part of New Mountain Capital. Dan held several senior leadership roles at Goodyear Tire & Rubber to where he actively engaged with Goodyear’s Board of Directors on strategy, governance, and mergers & acquisitions. Prior to joining Goodyear, Dan was Group President of the North American Building Systems & Services division of Carrier. As a 17-year GE veteran, he was promoted to company officer and is a graduate of their prestigious Corporate Audit Staff program. He held business leadership positions such as President & CEO for the Engineered Systems Security division, President & CEO for Asia Pacific Consumer and Industrial group based in Shanghai, China, and General Manager of Appliances’ Refrigeration business unit. Dan earned a master’s degree in Corporate Finance from the University of Memphis and received his bachelor’s degree with dual majors in Business Economics and Psychology from Creighton University. Currently, he is a Ph.D. candidate in Case Western Reserves Weatherhead School of Management. Dan served active duty in the U.S. Army Air Defense branch, achieving the rank of Captain.
