Position Overview:
The Product Director / Manager will lead corporate product management, develop the product vision, and execute our product strategy. This role requires a leader with an in-depth understanding of market trends, customer needs, and technological advancements, and a track record of bringing innovative products to market and scaling them effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and communicate a product vision and strategy aligned with company goals.
- Hire and mentor a product management team, fostering innovation and collaboration.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product decisions.
- Oversee the product lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring timely product releases.
- Work with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to gather feedback and meet customer needs.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive product innovation.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success, including revenue growth or margin expansion.
- Monthly reporting for our Partnership with AWS
- Manage CRM operations to ensure effective customer relationship management.
- Manage the product development budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Attend company meetings.
- Report directly to the Founder and CIO.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in product management, with demonstrable leadership experience.
- In-depth understanding of Private Equity, AI and Ecommerce and its trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- AWS Certifications (or willingness to certify).
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing product teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in product management tools and methodologies, with a solid understanding of software development processes.
